Hey there true believers ! I appologise for my absence in the blogging sphere since I was cluttered with exams and what not last year thus I was unable to continue blogging for the rest of the year but now I'm back with avengence ! I'm suprised the blog views have jumped from 1k to more than 4k during my absence.

Anyway back to the news , rumors are spreading that Linkin Park is once again lending their music for the soundtrack for the film Transformers : Dark of the Moon.Heres the report from TFW 2005.

"It’s been a while a rumor got some attention. Can’t blame, with all these toy leaks… there was no chance for a rumor to survive… everything was solid with facts (psst… we even learned the true identity of a certain Mack Truck. Talk about spoilers eh?).

So, let’s turn the Rumor Mill. TFLAMB is reporting that an anonymous source is saying that Mr. Michael Bay (Director of the Live Action Transformers Movies) has chosen another song from the hit rock band Linkin Park for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. This time from their latest album “A Thousand Suns”. The song in question is “Burning In The Skies”. Many TFW2005 Fans speculated that this song is a good choice for Transformers 3.

Since this is a rumor… keep it as such till we get an official confirmation from Linkin Park or Michael Bay. You can listen to a sample of the song via Amazon."

Superman's debut comic book issue sells for $1M

A 1938 edition of Action Comics No. 1, widely considered the Holy Grail of comic books, was sold from a private seller to a private buyer, neither of whom released their names for a shit load of money AKA 1 MILLION USD. The issue features Superman lifting a car on its cover and originally cost 10 cents.

The transaction was conducted by the auction site ComicConnect.com. Stephen Fishler, co-owner of the site and its sister dealership, Metropolis Collectibles, orchestrated the sale.

Fishler said it transpired minutes after the issue was put on sale at around 10:30 a.m. Eastern time (1530 GMT). He said that the seller was a "well known individual" in New York with a pedigree collection, and that the buyer was a known customer who previously bought an Action Comics No. 1 of lesser grade.

ComicVine- If you have been one of the many people paying attention to the Marvel/Disney merger, then today is the day you have probably been waiting for. We previously reported that the Marvel deal would not become official until the last day of 2009, in other words, today. Earlier this morning, Marvel Entertainment, Inc. held their promised Marvel stockholders meeting.

According to Marketwatch, Marvel shareholders have officially approved the acquisition by the Walt Disney Co. Iconic characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man and the X-Men are now officially Disney properties. The deal will be official upon the market closing later today (Thursday).

Guys the official Iron Man trailer is out now on marvels website and on their youtube channel !

And I have to say that its looking good.One thing I noticed thought is that the Iron Man suit looks less realistic and more CGI which I personally thought was a shame.One the other hand we get to see the other characters in the movie such as Whipslash,BlackWidow,Nick Fury and ofcourse the anticipated War Machine !

and now for the second story of the day Tobey Maguire.

The Boston Globe interviewed Spider-Man himself, Tobey Maguire recently about his upcoming film Brothers, and what do you know? The topic of Spider-Man came up.
Maguire hasn't seemed to gun-ho about reprising the role as Peter Parker, but has never really flat-out said he wasn't doing it:

“It’s not that I was reluctant,’’ he says. “For me, it’s a big process to decide whether or not to do a role. . . . I have to want to wake up in the morning and feel like I can’t wait to get to work. I’ve got to feel OK about leaving my kids for 12 or 13 hours a day for five months. It’s a big commitment.’’

Many people considered Spider-Man 3 a "not-so-great" film, and that's being nice. Maguire hopes to bring the film back to it's glory of the first two films, and also, deepen the character of Peter Parker.

“Hopefully I’ll be able to evolve the character in a new direction,’’ he says. “He’ll still be Peter Parker, but I hope I can move him forward a bit and take him to a place where there will be new challenges for me as an actor.’’

Sounds like this film will be back on the serious track, after the events that took place in Spider-Man 3. I guess that means no more dance/musical numbers (sad face). What do you hope to see in this upcoming installment, other than villains? More relationship development? Spidey delivering pizzas? Maybe even Peter revealing he's Spider-Man and dealing with himself in the public eye?

My Review - Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 Single Player

Its here and its bigger than ever.Its Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 (just to make things simpler I'll just call it MW2 for the rest of the review)

Now I have to applaud Infinity Ward and everyone who participated in the production of this game because it is simply amazing.Hands down the best game of 2009.

The graphics are stunning and it makes you feel like your in an actual war.This is most prominant in the levels in Washington D.C. It gives you the idea of how Washington D.C would look like in a situation like this.
Its simply stunning.

The story is well writen but I would advice you to throw logic and continuity out the window not because its a bad story but because it has so many twist and turns.My only advice :- dont strain your brain thinking too much about the story ;)

Probably the one and only problem I had with this game was that we are given the option to reduce difficulty but no option to increase it.I found this rather strange.So as an experiment i lowered the difficulty from Hardened to Regular.Regular turned out to be significantly easier.It was then I realised I couldnt reset my difficulty level :(
I had to restart my whole campaign because of this ( laugh it up guys....laugh it up)

I will make a separate review for its multiplayer and special-ops capabilities.

Total ratings : I would rate this game a 9/10

Graphics - 10/10
Story-9/10
Price-6/10 (its pricy at about rm180)

Game News - Forget the buzz over the next "Twilight" film or James Cameron's "Avatar." The biggest entertainment hit of the holiday season may come on Tuesday, when "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" hits stores.

The video game published by Activision Blizzard Inc is the most highly anticipated of the year, But it also arrives at a time when the weak economy is punishing sales across the video game industry.

Activision has plenty riding on the launch, and much to lose if the game falls short of expectations. Shares of the company have risen around 30 % this year, outperforming chief rival Electronic Arts Inc's 18 percent gain.

Analysts say "Call of Duty's" audience of hard-core gamers, generally young men, are likely to hit stores in droves to pick up the $60 game. Activision is partnering with 12 retailers including GameStop Corp and Best Buy Co for more than 10,000 midnight store openings in North America.

Sales estimates range from 11 million-13 million units by end-2009, which would put the game in rarefied company.

Activision said preorders set a record. The shooter game is likely to be "one of the largest entertainment launches of any media of all time," CEO Robert Kotick said this week.

MKM's Handler expects "Call of Duty" to sell close to 5 million units on the first day, and 7 million-8 million in the first week. That would beat last year's blockbuster "Grand Theft Auto IV" from Take-Two Interactive Software Inc, which sold 3.6 million units on the first day, and 6 million in its first week or more than $500 million in sales.

My thoughts on Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2.

As most of you guys know , Left 4 Dead 2 will be coming out to stores next month ( its already available for pre-purchase on steam).So in conjunction with that I present to you,My thoughts on Left 4 Dead and its sequel Left 4 Dead 2.

As we all know L4D caught the gaming world by storm last year and was quickly a favourite and thus regarded as one of the best games of 2008.Little did they know that L4D wasnt all perfect.It contained many flaws such as glitches ( so many infact that it's not funny anymore),a tendency to lag randomly and preety much all the problems its fellow popular Valve game
( CS:S) had except alot more pronounced.

It also did not incorporate the use of melee weapons in it.So from what I see,L4D 2 is preety much a giant patch for L4D with a 50$ price tag slapped onto it.(Rm 140 something in Malaysia)

The reason why I'm suddenly making this post ? Well my comrades and I were playing ZPS
( zombie panic source) and we started a 3 hour conversation regarding this soo i felt the sudden urge to make this post AND yes it is ironic that we were discussing about a different zombie game while playing a zombie game.

My verdict , Buy L4D2 if you want to.Heck even pre-purchase it if you want to.I might buy it once I know that Valve fixed all of it's problems that were faced by L4D.

I end this post with a question to you guys:

Do you think Valve intended to make L4D have so many problems just so they could get more money by releasing L4D 2 just a year later as a way to clear up these problems ?

Because they could have easily used less money to release a mass patch correcting these problems dont'cha think ? Leave your answers in the comments below.

The rumor, according to WorstPreviews comes from an insider, states that Megan Fox will only be in the first few moments of Transformers 3 before being killed off and replaced with another eye-candy female lead in her place.

Is this true or is this Michael Bay getting an early start with the misinformation campaign? Considering Megan Fox's recent, and highly visible, comments and the responses that they have elicited, anything might be possible.

For the love of manly man kind of manhood,please I pray this rumour is a false rumour to throw us of the plot like what Bay did during production of TF2.

Rant - Twilight Werewolves

This is not meant as an insult to you twilight out there.This is just a rant about the werewolves in twiligh ( the one seen in the new moon trailer)
My first thoughts were WTF.cause it looked more like a german shepherd on steroids than a werewolf.What happen to the good old days of werewolves looking bad ass and having horrible painful transformations( jacob makes his transformation looks as painful as farting).

Like the classics :- the wolfman(1944),an american werewolf in london and van helsing (and a lot more) brings a better name to the term Werewolf.Thank god a remake of the wolfman is coming out next year,at least that will be able to clean out the thought of this twilight werewolf nightmare from the minds of the movie watching public.

I mean seriously,why would a werewolf look or do anything like the ones in twilight( in the book aswell)(and yes i have sadly read parts of the series).

In conclusion, i absulutely hate the twilight werewolves who i shall now refer to as the Purebreeds cause they look more like a purebreed dog than a lycantrope ( is you dont know what a lycan is then well i'll explain.lycantropes = supposed scientific name for werewolves)(unless you follow what goes in the underworld series which states that lycans are a sub species of werewolf which in reality is false as lycan=werewolf)

But, dont let this get to your head and make you not watch to movie.(this is for you twilight fans out there).Even I will go watch the movie so I'll be able to judge it by myself and not based purely of reviews online.

I will be getting 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime after Penilian Menengah Rendah(PMR :O) exam so i'll do a review on him.Before you guys start saying " Why not get takara's masterpiece OP well i found a good deal on ebay but it was sold(damnit) so i will settle with this guy cause hes slightly cheaper than MP-01/MP-04 Prime.[this guy cost rm 430(good deal cause he normally cost like rm 600 cause you cant find him in stores anymore) whereas MP-01/MP-04 cost around 600-1000 !!]

Even though the US is getting the Blu-ray Exclusive with the mini bust of OP.
Japan is getting its own exclusives.
TFW2005 :Amazon Japan and Tatsuya Japan have recently added links to the exclusives available in Japan with the purchase of a Revenge of the Fallen DVD or Blu-ray. First up are two versions of the Revenge EZ Collection (Legends Class) Bumblebee in Stealth or Clear decos exclusive to Tatsuya. The clear version will be available only with the Bumblebee Case Premium DVD Edition, while those who preorder now will recieve the Stealth deco as a free gift. Next but not least, is a new version of Revenge Leader Optimus Prime in black and dark grey colors with gold flames. The japanese release date for the DVD and Blu-ray is December 18.

In my opinion they all look marvelous except for the clear legends class BB which looks abit cheap.
